Title: Mini power house
Review: Little drill with a lot of grunt. Just tried this in two inch thick wood,no problem ,tried it in brick in hammer mode ,impressive, replaces a Bosch 12 volt combi drill which was good but not a patch on this.as others have said the battery is not easy to get out, but I think it will ease off

Title: Mostly great
Review: This is a pretty decent little drill; it looks small, but it’s very well made and packs a bit of a punch. So far I’ve only had opportunity to try it out on plasterboard, a job it’s seemingly overqualified for. When I first saw it I was a bit wary, as I’ve had similarly sized drills from this programme before that have been a bit weedy. This, on the other hand, is a very different experience, feeling heavy for its size and well-built. I let my 14 year old son use this and he had no problems at all.There are multiple settings: drill, screwdriver, hammer drill and variable speed, as well as being bi-directional, giving it a good all-round practicality. The keyless chuck is pretty good and there doesn’t seem to be any slipping or loosening. Its smaller size actually helps in its practicality, in that it can get in to smaller spaces than a bigger drill.The tool bag it comes with is more spacious than you need, so you can through in a few other tools, not to mention drill bits, screwdriver heads, screws and plugs.My only problem is that the battery pack is incredibly difficult to remove, particularly with my tendon damaged hand and incipient arthritis. This is the only thing I would change about the design. You won’t get much better for the money than this drill and (apart from the battery) it’s super-easy to use.

Title: Very Impressive
Review: I write this review knowing my tools very well and being a big Makita fan.This came with 2 batteries, charger and a handy carry case.The drill itself is very well made indeed, feels awesome. It has lots of high quality abs plastic, metals screws and rubber bumpers all in the right place. For a 10.8v device, it has lots of power and torque which really surprised me – impressive. It has two speeds both of which are variable through the trigger giving lots of control.It has drill, screw and hammer options which are easy to select with a positive stopping ring and the torque control settings are also easy to select.I will mention this is very compact for a drill and will easy fit in those tight spaces and a big big feature for me. The batteries are super compact, easy to charge and you get 2 of them which is great. Naturally at 10.8v with compact batteries like this they won’t last like some of the bigger 18v or even 40v tools, but still great.The only negative is the battery is super tough to get out of the drill. Maybe a got a poor one or it’s just because it’s new, either way a pain to remove. I would have dropped a star, but I was so impressed by everything else I couldn’t do it.All in all, a super compact, high quality drill with a variety of options and settings, all encased in a high quality piece of kit – highly recommended.

Title: Looking forward to putting this to use
Review: Compact, powerful and right for any diy task I’m likely to attempt.Love how compact this drill is, unlike some of the other drills I’ve used, it’ll get into smaller tighter spaces without resorting to a cumbersome flexi-drive.Unit feels comfortable and balanced when in use. It has a two speed drive, an easy to use keyless chuck, settings for screw-driving, drilling and hammer. On top of this, there’s also 20 torque settings and, of course, a forward, reverse and lock switch intuitively positioned for the thumb/forefinger.It may be my arthritic fingers, but I did find releasing the battery from the drill difficult. I had to ask my wife to hold the drill while I attempted to remove the battery. Maybe not a bad thing really, but I will say, the springs for the release catches are certainly “robust”.I found the instruction booklet for the charger to be a little confusing at first when trying to determine what the charging light status was, as the description is at the bottom of one page and then the lights’ flashing status is at the top of the next page.All in all a fantastic compact powerful drill from a UK company with UK based support. Well priced to boot!

Title: Top quality Combi Drill
Review: Looks, feels and performs like a premium product. From the high quality case to the perfectly concentric chuck, this is a very good compact drill driver and easily stands up against my other premium drill/drivers.The supplied case has plenty of spare room to take drill bits, sockets and screwdriver bits as well as fixings. It’s well balanced and lightweight in use and powerful enough for most domestic tasks without being burdened with a huge battery. Very impressive, compact combi drill that’s probably all you need for general household use.
