Review: Each plug is numbered corresponding to the number on the remote, so no fiddling around setting up needed. Each plug can be switched on/off individually, or all together with an ‘all’ button. Does not work round corners, but I don’t need that. Very convenient. Pleased with it.

Title: I LOVE these remote controls, with a few issues
Review: The BEST invention since sliced bread! I have lots of lights in my house for various ambient effects, and these things are a god-send. I have four sets of them. They work brilliantly. They are one of my favourite possessions lol. However, they aren’t without faults, which is why I deducted a star.One issue is the size of the receivers. They usually don’t fit beside each other on an extension lead. But I see that as partially a problem of the cable manufacturers, because sometimes my normal plugs won’t fit next to each other on cables. But these receivers need to be narrower.Another issue is that the power button is on the side. They should have at least put it on the edge that doesn’t abut other plugs or on the top, so then you could maybe cram the receivers together on an extension lead, but with the power buttons being on the sides, there is no chance.The final issue is the actual remote control device on this latest model. I don’t like it. It’s not well designed. It looks ugly and it feels cheap, and sometimes I have to press relatively hard to get it to work. The “buttons” aren’t actually buttons, but pieces of plastic that are attached on only one end, which makes them flexible so you can push them. Honestly, this is terrible design. The old remotes were well designed, looked good, and gave you the satisfying feeling of pushing the buttons. With these new remotes, if you closed your eyes, for instance, you wouldn’t know whether you had engaged the “button” or not.I think Dewenwils needs to go back to the drawing board and make these changes: Narrower receiver, power button on the edge that isn’t adjacent to other plugs, and scrap the new remotes entirely and go back to the old version.

Title: So easy to set up
Review: I have had similar controls before and after many years the failed so bought these new ones. They arrived next day and took 5 minutes to set up. They really help when trying to reach places like behind the TV or a light switch down the side of a dresser. I would recommend them.

Title: Utter Chinese manufactured rubbish
Review: Note: I already own a 3 socket version of this product and wanted a 5 socket upgrade……..I spent an hour assigning and reassigning buttons on the controller to switch on or off the various sockets. No matter what I did, the controller would switch in or off multiple sockets and not always the same ones! No matter how many times you try to reassign and pair with the controller, it would do whatever it wanted. Utter cheap rubbish. Don’t waste your time. Returned same day
