Title: has a good battery life
Review: I rarely give 5 stars for anything, but this has to get the top grade for sheer value for money – provided you pay less than Â£70 for it, it’s a bargain. It’s small, has a good battery life, simple to operate and takes good quality video. Pricing policy of some sellers is weird – some colours cost twice as much as others, but who cares what colour it is?Downsides: it’s not a GoPro in terms of image quality or functions available, but it comes very close at a quarter of the price. Here’s a link to my first effort with it http://youtu.be/7MxoTNfqVqc , It’s my first attempt at any video so no prizes for it, but it shows what the camera can do (be aware that YouTube compresses and processes it so it may not look as good as the original video). The camera doesn’t seem to cope smoothly with transitions from bright to dark, the adjustments are a bit jerky but it does well. I’d like a range of shutter intervals for time lapse rather than the single value offered.Overall, it’s a great little camera to record those exciting moments, and you won’t be worrying about Â£300 worth of gear getting trashed when it all goes belly-up.

Title: Doesn’t Work With Android -it’s Apple only
Review: The video recording quality is excellent but And this is a major drawback, really depends on the camera positioning – position the camera too high (pointing to the sky) and the auto-exposure can darken the video….SO viewing the image using the WiFi really matters AND THE ANDROID APP DOESN’T WORK. This statement is based on attempting to download/run the Android App on three differing phones (one Motorola and 2 Samsung and two differing tablets (Samsung/Acer). On a better note The Apple iPhone/iPad App worked first time.So I can only say that if you’re considering buying this camera – make sure you have an iPad or iPhone to make the most of it

Title: Nice pictures, when and if they work… Unfortunately they don’t…..
Review: Really disappointing piece of kit. The first one I was sent only managed to hold a charge for about 20 mins then shut up shop. The retailer to their credit sent another the very next day free of charge. It seemed to work fine until it arrived in the French Alps last week to record my skiing endeavours. Fully charged and in the chest harness, the battery then lasted for around 10 mins. It wasn’t even very cold, check the weather there 2nd – 12th Jan 15, it even rained a lot of the time it was so warm… but it shut up shop completely even refusing to be recharged from its dedicated USB. it was so dead that the lap top refused to even recognise the USB connection!!!The film it did take was nice quality, it just couldn’t take enough of it without shutting down and refusing to work again. I paid a lot less than the current asking price and feel that there may well have been a reason…. Not worth your hard earned I am afraid full stop.

Title: Nice alternative
Review: Ok, i have recently bought this Action Cam. I attended the Gadget Show Live earlier this year and the Go Pro was there, and well that seems a great piece of kit. My mate has one and it does the job perfectly, however it is very expensive and I was actually going to buy one whilst there but the salesman was not interested so i didnt buy one in the end however……….. as i was looking into an alternative my mate showed me this Action Cam and to say that i am impressed is an understatement, so far it seems to do the job really well.Admitedly i have not used it lots as I have been lazy and only been out on my bike a couple of times with it. My mate and I are going to compare his Go Pro with this next week hopefully so then I can do a proper review to compare it.Dislikes: not many mounting options, I have the body mount and it is a bit hit and miss trying to get it to sit were you want it, would be good if it had a tilt on the mount like the Go Pro.Likes: Price Â£100+ cheaper than alternatives with similar specs. Well made and can even use the buttons with my gloves on.Will update the review when i have used it a bit more

Title: Great quality gopro rival
Review: My brother has a GO PRO HD2 Motorsport edition camera that he uses recording trackday footage and its a great product. It is also very expensive especially when you factor in the various mounts ie suction mounts and a roll-cage clampI have recently got into doing trackdays and done lots of research on what camera would be good value for money. First thing that strikes you about this camera is that its very very small. I have a Kodak ZX5 i was going to use for trackdays but the poor quality sound caused me alot of issue’s. No problems with sound with this Camera.You will struggle to find many video examples of this camera in use on Youtube because its still quite new but the results are amazing. Also the firmware has been updated and the action connect software can now be used on your android mobile phone so that it acts as a viewfinder.You can disable the LED on the front using the action connect software meaning you can film quite stealthily without anyone knowing. This is very useful as a trackday camera because you wont be distracting others with a flashing LED every 2 seconds. It also means you can use record when driving everyday on the road without gathering any unwanted attention ie the police asking why you are recording your driving.This is a great product and now its got the WIFI sorted for Android phones its real rival for Go Pro. Obviously it doesn’t have all the fuctions of the GO Pro but what it does do it does very well.

Review: Buscaba una cÃ¡mara pequeÃ±a y con la posibilidad de carcasa para sumergirla. Pude probarla antes de comprarla y para los que no necesitamos una grabaciÃ³n en 4K, pantalla y super calidad, es una alternativa mas que decente. Review: CamÃ©ra achetÃ©e il y a 3 semaines. A fonctionnÃ© 2 fois. Du jour au lendemain, a cessÃ© de fonctionner. Review: Die Kamera nimmt, um die Datei nicht zu groÃŸ werden zu lassen, immer nur 30 Minuten auf. Wenn man die Kamera also 90 Minuten laufen lÃ¤sst sollten 3 Dateien gespeichert sein.Bei der Firmware 3.2.1.0 ist offensichtlich ein Problem bekannt das immer nur die ersten 30 Minuten aufgenommen werden und die Kamera sich dann ausschaltet. Eine neuere Firmware Version (laut Benutzerforen 3.3.1.0) soll dieses Problem beheben. Nur ist diese aber nicht frei verfÃ¼gbar und nur auf Anfrage an den Kundensupport zu erhalten. Warum auch immer.Leider scheint es als ob der Liquid Image Support nicht mehr existiert.Seit 3 Wochen habe ich nach mehrmaliger Kontaktaufnahme noch keine Reaktion bekommen.Schade, die Kamera ist ansonsten ganz okay, besser als erwartet. So kann ich leider nichts damit anfangen und muss diese zurÃ¼ck schicken.Sollte man die Kamera nur fÃ¼r kurze Aufnahmen (unter 30 Minuten) benÃ¶tigen so kann man diese weiter empfehlen.Nachtrag:Mittlerweile hat sich der Support von Liquid Image gemeldet und die Firmware 3.3.1.0 zur VerfÃ¼gung gestellt. Diese behebt das Problem. Wer also Geduld hat kann sich die Kamera bestellen. WiFi Steuerung funktioniert einwandfrei, QualitÃ¤t der Videos ist absolut ausreichend.
