Title: A must have tool to ensure ‘expansion anchors’ are fully open behind the plasterboard
Review: Great price for an excellent addition to tools.My iron pan shelves are nice & secure, on a thin plasterboard wall, thanks to this tool. I purchased the Fischer expansion anchors for their quality & those work perfectly with this tool.Yes you can tighten the fixings by hand but this tool is one quick action & you know the anchors are spread behind the plasterboard.Ensure you watch a video of the tool being used before using.Make sure the black inner plate holds the screw head ‘the inside black piece which comes forward as in image 2 as you open/release the handles’ because people make the mistake of not making sure the inner moving part is fully forward as in image 1 where it is not ready for use.Please note no parts are made of plastic as mentioned in an erroneous review .. the inside part is metal I have 2 and assure you of this.The work fine for M5 size anchors which I have used Fischer M5 on the items in the third image.

Title: Quality Tool
Review: You’ll need this setting tool if you are going to use the Molly hollow metal cavity fixings – you won’t be able to secure them otherwise. This tool is very sturdy, well made and very easy to use (and the best price I could find). I used it to hang coat racks on my kids hollow bedroom doors. I was very impressed at how secure the racks are. I have used the yellow rawl-plug type fixings before but these are much better, much stronger.

Title: Well built, strong and compact
Review: The compact design allowed me to use in tighter spaces to hang things on plaster board. The gun itself is very well made and feels very good quality straight out of the box. Even though I’ve only used it about 5 times so far, I think its going to last a lifetime its that well made.

Title: Not powerful enough for M5 Wall Anchors
Review: Would probably be fine for M3 or possibly M4 anchors, but wasn’t strong enough to compress quality Timico 75mm M5 Wall Anchors. Ordered a rawlplug setting tool and it worked fine. I think the issue is that the Rawlplus type one pulls the anchor through in small steps so it has much more leverage, whereas this tool has to do everything in one lever movement and just isn’t poweful enough foe the larger anchors

Review: La herramienta viene en una caja y proegida con plástico de burbujas. Es de muy buena calidad y de nota robusta en la manos. Funciona perfectamente y tira del tornillo para doblar el taco sin problemas. Empuñadura de goma. Indispensable si tienes pladur en casa ya que los tacos metálicos para mí son los que quedan más fuertes en pladur.
