Title: Good option at mid-range price
Review: After trying a few different options I’m happy to stick with this webcam. I don’t see any significant difference between it and the webcams at massively inflated prices beyond the fifty pound mark. It’s states a wide’ish field of view of 100° and this feels about right. The lens quality is fine, with good definition and no ‘fisheye’ distortion, and it has manual focus which I like but may not suit everyone. Once set for your normal online chat position you only need to change focus if you’re using the camera a different way. The mounting clip sits easily and securely on a laptop screen or desktop monitor and the camera has plenty of rotation and tilt to get a good position. The clip also has a tripod screw thread if you want to place the camera off the computer. The USB cable is about 1.5m so lots of flexibility. A big plus for me was that the microphone on the camera works well for speech. There’s a decent bit of gain without the distortion I’ve heard in better known brands. The camera works straight out the box but my reason for knocking off a star is that the initial picture quality is a bit flat and de-saturated and there’s no software supplied to tweak this. Win10 seems to have buried the old Microsoft Video ProcAmp so you need to run an application that has this. I used the freeware, OBS Studio. You double click your Video Capture Device – (it shows as USB Live camera) – then select Configure Video. You just balance Contrast and Brightness sliders so the shadows and highlights look natural and don’t lose detail and then ease up the Saturation level so you’ve got a bit more skin tone without going bright orange! I’d leave the other settings alone. White Balance and Exposure should have the Auto checkbox ticked. Lighting obviously has a big impact on the picture but I think those wee tweaks give you an image every bit as good as something two or thee times the price.

Title: Doesnt give a great picture
Review: You know how sometimes you look crap in a photo? well this is perfect for that, the picture quality isnt great and it doesnt pick up colour well. Not a true image and wasnt cheap, plus the cable wasn’t very long as my tower is under the desk it didnt reach so I had to use a front USB port and fix it up on my pen pot! as it too far away from screen. Wasted my money gave it away!

Title: I’ve got FaceTime set up with my main tv now it’s easy and clear
Review: I recently wanted a camera to add to our living room. We have been calling the in laws and relatives. With this attached to my tv/mac mini it’s been easy to call them and not move the iPad into place. It’s easy and intuitive. Feels nice to have a camera set up and ready all the time.It does not spring clip on the tv though, it’s more like a slide that you adjust. It could fit on a thicker tv. The camera quality is really good.I feel like it could have been cheaper but overall the quality is good and the sound is crisp. Especially when I ask others.

Review: The price is right for one thing .. amazing webcam ! Why pay so much more for other brand makes ? No need , this one is perfect .. and i have had many webcams over the last 20 years ! So no complaints at all , even the build in mic is very good .. i make many recordings and also have many a conversations with many friends , never a problem ! I give it 6 stars if i could !

Review: This webcam advertising for web camera for YouTube , but nothing like to be used for YouTube, noise and disconnect so often from the video, quality of the video was not able to use in YouTube video! not only! Review: This is a well designed web cam with great image quality. It is easy to setup as it is plug and play for newer versions of Windows and Mac. There is software available which allows more granular controls and expanded features, however, the software activation form on the manufacturers website did not work (tried several browsers) so I could not use the software – hopefully they will fix that soon as I am anxious to try out their software. However, the Spedal software utility is not needed to begin using the cam with teleconference or web cam apps such as Zoom, Skype, OBS, etc.The supplied remote control worked great which allows for up to 10x zoom, digital pan and tilt, brightness controls, AI on/off, muting and more. I am happy that the AI can be turned off when not desired or needed. I am glad they included a capable remote with this cam – it’s a big plus. The cam has great image quality with excellent dynamic range (thanks to the HDR built in) – other cams seem to be overwhelmed with highlights and bright lights, but this cam seems to handle it much better and the image is more even toned as they eye would see it. The lens is described as “fixed focus” and everything in view seems to be in focus. The lens and cam assembly does not have motors – panning, tilting, or zooming is done digitally – image quality and resolution are maintained during zooming – there is no pixel blocking or aliasing effect; at least it’s not noticeable.The cam is very flexible as to mounting options including a tripod mount – I just placed it on top of my PC for now at least. There is no privacy cover over the lens but one can just point the camera away toward the floor or ceiling (or just unplug it). It is best to use a USB 3.x port for best speed for 4K bandwidth quality. I did not test the audio yet but from the looks of it should be great. I will be using this cam almost daily. It’s a great value for the price.

Review: En sí funciona bien y tiene buena calidad, pero llega un punto en el que si te mueves mucho se desenfoca.No es fácil configurarla, y ya para colmo si quieres usar todas las funciones de la app, te pide un código de licencia que debes pedirle a los administradores por correo electrónico adjuntando datos de compra. Para mí esto es una tomadura de pelo bien grande, porque si tienes la cámara, debes tener el código de licencia y no tanto rollo. Sinceramente pensé en devolverla pero al final me acabé acostumbrando, eso sí, tocando todos los botones para poder saber cuándo me graba y cuándo no, porque la configuración es de nivel Harvard.
