Review: This is by no means a bad purchase, as it is fairly cheap and will certainly do in a pinch.I bought this item as I didn’t currently own one and it was a bit of a gap in my DIY arsenal, however I do question the sturdiness of the wrench itself. It’s not terrible and is actually quite comfortable to hold, but something about it just feels like it isn’t going to last very long and I wouldn’t want to put too much pressure on it for fear of breaking the ratchet mechanism.The sockets are ok (they are in fact metal so can’t go too wrong :’) ) but the holder is pretty naff. Some of the sockets are stuck into the holder as if someone has glued them in, and a couple of them fall out even with the slightest tap on the back. Arguably this isn’t critical, but it would still be nice to have them all fit nicely/securely as I guarantee someone is going to end up loosing a couple.Overall I’m not entirely satisfied with the 1/4 ratchet and socket set, but for the price I can’t really expect too much and it will do until I acquire something more serious.If I get the chance, I’ll make an update after some usage and see how the item holds up over time.
