Title: Great mask
Review: After seeing all the hype re these face masks I had to give them a try. Went on easily, had to sit still for a while to get them a chance to mould to my face, I left mine on for three hours after it went clear. Found my skin to be very hydrated and glass like. Pack of 4 well worth the money, a great buy.

Title: Waste of money!
Review: I bought these as I saw all the hype online and thought I’d try them. Waste of time! They look nothing like the picture, aren’t as thick and are very fiddly to get on or stick to face. It started to peel off after 30 minutes so tried laying down and sleeping in it – impossible. Removed after 3 hours and absolutely no difference was noticed. Will use the remaining 3 as I’ve bought them but certainly wouldn’t recommend this particular brand.

Title: Very moisturising but very difficult to wear overnight.
Review: The Bio-dance Bio Collagen Face Masks arrive individually packed in a recyclable cardboard sleeve, you get 4 masks for the current price of £12.99 which is pretty good value for the price but I’d recommend using them only until they turn transparent (about 45 minutes) rather than using them overnight to avoid the mask falling off and getting stuck to your bedding.These masks aren’t typical “sheet” facial masks as they’re designed to be applied in two parts, one for your upper face and one for your lower face. They’re made of a jelly like substance that’s quite slippery when you apply them which makes them a bit fiddly to get into place.There’s some confusion as the product images say you’re supposed to wear them for 3 to 4 hours so the recommendation is to wear them overnight but… the product images also imply that the ingredients have been absorbed when the mask turns transparent, which takes about 45 minutes.I tried one out as an “overnight mask” but really struggled with it as I felt a bit worried about the masks (both parts) falling off if I moved during my sleep. Ironically, this made it hard to get to sleep as I was trying very hard to stay on my back and not move. Eventually I did drop off but when I woke up, both parts of the mask were adhered to my pillowcase and not my face.Admittedly, my face had managed to absorb some of the product so my skin felt very soft but I then had to remove the mask pieces from the pillowcase and put my pillowcase in the wash.The idea of an overnight mask is a nice one as it gives your skin a lot of time to absorb the ingredients but if the mask doesn’t stay on then it’s a bit pointless. It’s also a heck of a time commitment if you want to use the mask for the recommended duration of 3 to 4 hours during the day because you’re still going to have the problem of it slipping or falling off your face if you’re moving around.I tried another mask a couple of days later and used it for 45 minutes – this worked a lot better as I put it on my face, set a timer, read a book for a bit, removed the mask and then fell asleep without worrying about it getting stuck to my pillow again. My skin felt lovely the next morning and I didn’t have to wash my pillowcase.Overall – I’d recommend these masks for the 45 minutes use it (roughly) takes before they turn transparent as this seems to have the same results on my skin and there’s a lot less stress and mess but I wouldn’t recommend using them overnight.

Review: PACKAGING: Dedicated marketing box and shrinked wrapped in cellophane.PRODUCT: Bio-collagen face mask x 4FUNCTION: These came in a marketing box that was secured with cellophane for hygiene. Inside each mask is in its own foil pouch. Directions for use are printed on the rear of each pouch – The skin must be clean and dry. Remove the mask and tear off the backing film. Place mask on your face.The mask is cold to the touch. It is white in colour and comes in two parts for the upper and lower face. You remove the film on both parts before placing over your face. The guidance states to leave it in place for 3-4 hours or until it turns transparent. So, unless you have someone to tell you when its turned transparent/clear, you’ll need to keep checking in the mirror.Once removed my skin did feel refreshed. Whether or not it reduces wrinkles and fine lines is questionable, but I doubt it. It will just appear so for a short while because your skin is re-hydrated and therefore plumper.Shelf life – 3 yearsExpiry: 18 April 2027The box states this is recyclable but it is not clear which part of this pack it refers to. Also, there is a symbol that shows the product should be used within 12 months of opening. That must mean the box, not the foil lined pouch, as the mask would evaporate long before then. Confusing!At the time of this review the pack of 4 masks was £10.99, which works out at about £2.75 a mask. I think this is reasonable.
