Title: Awesome, but limited to ANSI (US) layout only
Review: There is nothing to dislike about this gem of a keyboard. I have long used an IBM Model M keyboard because I love the sound and feel of big ol’ heavy clacketty keyboards. Forget all that squishy pad type key nonsense.Although not as heavy (or loud) as the Model M buckling spring keys, the action on this is very nice and very reminiscent of vintage keyboard actions and reminds me greatly of the C64. It is very pleasant to type on, even though my muscle memory is attuned to the Model M keys which are spaced slightly further apart. For anyone who had a C64 in the day, this will be a familiar experience, and a joy. Also includes multiple connection modes, wifi, Bluetooth and wired, all easily accessible via the dial at the top of the board which makes multitasking on and switching between multiple devices a breeze. I have mine set to wireless for my PC and with a simple flick of the switch to Bluetooth I can then type on my iPad or iPhone. The board has an onboard battery which is charged with the included USB cable. You can also set the mode switch to OFF, which acts as both an on/off switch in wireless mode and basically make the keyboard a wired device whilst it charges. Also integrated is a volume dial. Also included with the board are a pair of BIG MASSIVE mappable super buttons, and a simple -old-skool joystick. These connect through the keyboard rear panel. Up to four separate pairs of super buttons can be attached, which is great for gaming or to offer accessibility solutions. The buttons can be mapped to whatever function you wish, and are also mirrored to a pair of keys on the keyboard labelled A and B.You can purchase extra super buttons, and also available separately is a number pad unit to add a full number pad section to the keyboard that has its own battery, power cable and connection options (and a display to act as a calculator). The real bargain of this board is that it is priced very reasonably – it somehow manages to out-compete other similar quality boards price-wise even with the addition of super buttons and joystick. Even if you never use those extras, you have still snagged a VERY nice board at a steal of a price for its quality.THE ONLY DOWNSIDE: A minor niggle, but if you are in the UK or EU, you will have to simply get used to this being an ANSI keyboard with US key placements. It’s not a major issue, and only affects a small number of symbol keys being switched around a bit. so I suggest switching your PC/Device keyboard mapping to ANSI or US in your OS settings so that what you type will match what is on the keycaps themselves. The only catch to that is that there is absolutely no UK Pound symbol, or Euro symbol, anywhere in US keyboard mapping, so get used to having a little notepad doc on your desktop so that you can quickly copy and paste those symbols when you need them!AFAIK 8BitDo have stated that they have no future plans to offer a non-ANSI keyboard. So, if you do lots of accounts, this may not be the board for you. But if that’s not a dealbreaker then you will quickly adjust to the small number of keys in different places. Also note that there is no lighting in this keyboard – which is great because glowing keyboards are an abomination – and with the keys being dark they will be hard to see in poor lighting conditions. All in all, an awesome little keyboard no matter what you need it for, and a lovely retro-style option for those of us who are OLD and GRUMPY and look back with fondness on the days when everything was built like a battleship.

Title: You Certainly get what you pay for.
Review: I initially thought this was a bit pricey but the reviews were good and I liked the look of it being a Huge Commodore 64 fan from back in the day :)However when I received it you can tell right away this is a Classy Luxury Product. It all starts with the Box .. ( 8bitdo never change your packaging )The box alone feels expensive and just as much effort has gone into that as the keyboard itself which looks stunning and feels really solid oozing with quality. The keys feel fantastic and overall a real pleasure to use also with so many options for connection.I have nothing negative to say about this product although i really would like one of those transparent moulded plastic covers to pop on top of it to keep it nice and clean 🙂

Title: Incredible Keyboard
Review: Switches are nice and clicky, and the massive plastic chassis gives a nice echo reminiscent of vintage keyboards. The layout is nice and standard, and the concave keycaps make a nice change from what you normally find on most keyboards. The Super Buttons are great, but the included joystick’s base is too light, so it topples over during use which is quite annoying.Software is very easy to use, and doesn’t have any of the bloat that you tend to get with modern gaming keyboards.(also free stickers are a nice touch, and the cable is decent)

Title: Excellent Keyboard, but be aware of the Keyboard Layout!
Review: Excellent Keyboard, the clicky feedback and feel is lovely. Be aware though that the keyboard is a U.S.A. Layout, so the @ symbol is not on the number two key and the GBP symbol is missing altogether. It does look like my C64 Breadbin and the extra joystick and buttons are a nice addition too. I have pre-ordered the numpad to get around the lack of that feature, but the keyboard is excellent and if it had the option of swapping the key caps to match the C64 UK layout, it would be amazing. I will be using this for a long time with my gaming PC to come. Highly recommended.

Title: Fantastic experience
Review: Wow, this keyboard is truly a dream to type on, no friction, keys very responsive and clicky. Only downside is it is quite loud but honestly it doesn’t matter as if this bothers you it is very easy to hotswap. Brilliant for gaming and extremely good value for money as well would definitely buy again

Title: Great quality, spot-on styling
Review: The keyboard is just as one might hope, with just the right styling for the retro-nerd. Enter and control keys are a little louder than you might want, but the profile and travel on the keys is very good at the price.Accessories are great too.

Review: This is a very solid, well-made keyboard that while yes, it does prey on your nostalgia, it’s also responsive, solid, and great to use.Has a very nice clicky thonk that reminds me so much of using the c64 back in the day. The keyboard itself, like others have said, does feel a touch hollow, but it’s also very solid with some heft, so it doesn’t feel cheap. The buttons and controller are programmer macro – a huge fan of the 2 giant buttons, especially for someone like me who works with spreadsheets and whatnot all day, super easy to configure for some functions I use all the time.Battery charge has been great so far – it does help there’s no RGB, but even then, impressed so far with the battery life. And on the subject of RGB, while it may not appeal to the folks who want flashier things for gaming, it is absent of any RGB lighting, however it still feels great for gaming, I definitely wouldn’t pass on it just because there’s so crazy lights. At the end of the day, it’s a solid, well-built keyboard for a good price, that should make anyone happy, not just those looking for some extra nostalgia.

Review: Che nostalgia sta tastiera in stile C64.

Review: So…I don’t know where to begin with, I usually do not write any Amazon Reviews, but oh man, I just got this keyboard and any excuse to type is a good excuse. What can I say, I never owned a Commodore 64, but the looks, and key profile got me hooked, and dude, it’s amazing, it’s very comfortable. I love tenkeyless keyboards so this has been a perfect choose (for me, small hands, clumsy), it doesn’t have an adjustable one, but it’s got the perfect inclination, the keys are double shot and are made ofn PBT so you get the best of the best out of the box, and that’s purely objective. And the last: The switches. These god dmn switches are soooooo goood, I come from a cherry blue switch keyboard (which are ok, any mechanical keyboard tends to be Ok in comparison of a membrane one), but these Kailh White switches make the Cherry Blue look like an extremely low tier type of switch. They are so smooth, so comfortably clicky, so much response and feedback it’s on another level, I’d choose these switches anytime and I owned, Cherry Black, Silent Red, Blue and Kailh Brown switches. But IF you don’t like clicly switches: IT’S OKAY, it’s a HOT SWAPPABLE keyboard, that means you can always choose another type of Kailh switch, buy it and swap it without having to weld or unweld or anywhing; pull them, swap them, and you’re good to go (they have to be compatible, lol). So, yeah, if you are wondering wether you should buy this and you have the money, then yeah, buy it NOW.Needles to say, it’s a recent purchase, if a catastrophic failure happens I will update this review inmediately.Cheers!

Review: Het doet precies wat je er van verwacht en meer. Het beste vind ik dat je makkelijk tussen de dongle en Bluetooth kan switchen zodat je hem makkelijk aan 2 apparaten kan koppelen.
