Title: Slim cam with great picture quality. App is terrific too.
Review: I fitted this myself together with the hard wire kit. The hardwire kit is detected, Parking mode works great. the time-lapse feature strangely popped up a few days later – so I can only assume this is due to some software update in the background that happened. i realised that the Camera does not power on when connected to USB C to USB C cables. Only USB A to C, or via the hardwire kit.All in all , it’s a feature packed piece of kit. And looks really slim and unobtrusive. The app is terrific – the timeline view is similar to doorbell cameras where you simply drag a slider to navigate the timeline. events are marked in different colours as well.The G sensors aim to automatically take emergency photos/videos when there is an abnormal bump even during driving. I drove over a pothole and the camera went off. will need a little more time to understand how effective it is.To get the most out of this, you really need to hardwire it.

Review: I purchased this as it sounds great when buying, they forget to mention you need another wire for parking mode to activate which is going to be another 20 pound on top of the 90 I have already paid, also while driving the camera constantly tells you it’s connecting and to drive at 40 mph when roads in my area are 30, IF YOU LIKE LISTENING TO CAR PLAY ASWELL IT WILL NOT WORK AS THE APP DRAINS ALL YOUR DATA TO THE CAMERA! NOT WORTH £90!!!!!

Review: Die technischen Daten und der relative schlanke Formfaktor haben mich diese Dashcam auswählen lassen.Der Einbau ist “as simple as that” aber genau dort zeigt sich dann auch schon die für mich größte Schwäche.Die Cam kann genau einmal in einem Fahrzeug verwendet werden. Die Befestigung an der Frontscheibe erfolgt mittels einer kleinen Plastikfolie, welche durch Adhäsion an der Scheibe angebracht wird. (selbes Verfahren wie z.B. bei einer Handyschutzfolie). Das ist völlig ok und funktioniert auch dementsprechend einfach. (Bitte nicht am schwarzen Aufdruck hinterm Rückspiegel anbringen, da hält die Folie nicht lange und die Cam fällt samt Folie ab).Auf dieser Folie wird dann die Cam befestigt. Diese geschieht mittels eines hitzbeständigen Klebepads, welches an der Cam-Halterung angebracht ist. Das Problem hierbei:Es gibt genau EINE CHANCE die Kamera anzubringen. Diese sitzt sofort bombenfest an/auf der Folie undist damit nicht mehr neu platzierbar, falls man sie schief anbringt oder anderweitig ändern möchte.Sie geht natürlich noch mit der Adhäsionsfolie ab, aber diese kann auch nur 1x od. 2x mal verwendet werden, dann hält sie nicht mehr und sieht schon nach dem ersten mal unansehnlich aus.Ein Mail an den Support nach einem sog. Accessory Kit für dieses Dashcam Modell (gibt es für andere Dashcams von 70mai auch und enthält Adhäsionsfolie und neues Klebepad) oder Klebepadersatz ergab, dass dieses nicht verfügbar ist für die M500 Dashcam.Das bedeutet: Ich kann die Dashcam genau einmal verwenden! Oder ich muss basteln, was a) nicht nur unansehnlich aussieht und b) nicht sein darf!Hallo @70mai, was soll das denn?Aus diversen YT Videos weiß ich, dass in anderen Ländern gleich 2 Pads und Folien mitgeliefert werden.Warum nicht in Deutschland?Auch wird in anderen Ländern als kleinste Variante die 64GB Version angeboten, hier in D nur die 32 GB Version. Warum nicht in Deutschland?Fazit: Diese Cam geht zurück!Solange 70mai seine deutschen Kunden als Kunden 2.ter Klasse behandelt unddie Cam nicht so ausstattet, dass man sie PROBLEMLOS und ohne basteln mehr alseinmal verwenden kann, (2x Klebepad und 2x Adhäsionsfolie) kann ich dieseDashcam absolut NICHT EMPFEHLEN.Positiv erwähnenswert ist, dass man in der App keinen Account bei einem chinesischem Unternehmen benötigt. Ist tatsächlich selten. Die Qualität der Aufnahmen ist gut.
