Title: solid build, good retraction spring, easy to read, markings on both sides. Metric only
Review: PROS-very solid retraction spring (beware you don’t let it retract freely, it’s strong!)-easy to see and to read markings-markings on both front and back (this is _so_ useful, I’ve never had a tape measure that had markings on the back before)-quite compact, given how long the tape is-teeth at end protrude both up and down (I used it as a straight-edge yesterday, by flipping it upside down so the edges of the tape touched the wood I was going to cut, and I could drag a pencil down it to make my mark)CONS-metric only (I personally only use metric, but some still like inches and feet, this is not the tape measure for them)NOTES-this is 5m only (a bit shorter than average, for a tape measure)MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Title: Amazing value
Review: Awesome metric tape measure, easy to read, double sided too which is a very welcome feature, my 4x as expensive Milwaukee one doesn’t even have that. The housing is just clear plastic, not too bad really, no rubberised areas so probably not as good at shock absorbing but it feels solid.The standout on this tape is pretty impressive, it does 2m+ before it arcs too much to be useful and didn’t buckle until over 3m, I was impressed.Only part about it that shows the low price is the label on it, which you can easily peel off, everything else seems to be punching away above the price point IMO.Accuracy wise seems decent compared to other measures, maybe fractions of a mm out but so are the others I have between brands. Also the front and back markings are about 0.2-0.3mm out compared. Given what its used for I don’t think anyone is expecting that level of accuracy out of a tape measure.Considering this is under £10 at time of review its genuinely a great deal, I’ve had ones double the price that aren’t half as good. Would recommend.
