Title: Great for straight lines but forget round objects.
Review: We were looking to tidy up our bathroom and wanted to try something different than silicone sealant so we ordered this what were you like self adhesive sealant stripIt comes well packaged in a role but there was a problem as soon as I unraveled it as there were little ripples in the material that caught it become a little bit difficult to use also there was a really strong plastic type of smell.First of all I decided to use it on a straight bit of a shelf. It took me ages to remove the back off the sticky stuff. Once I had actually done this I managed to stick this on to the shelf wall quite easily and it looked okay apart from small indentations.I then tried two protect around the bottom of the toilet basin and this was a complete disaster as it keeps rocking up every time you try and put it around anything. Pictures on the adverts make it look like it’s going to look absolutely lovely but it’s impossible to do without cutting and manipulating the strip which causes it to look absolutely hideous. Don’t be fooled by the superimposed pictures.unless you’re a professional I dealt you will be able to get this rounded toilet basin or any curved object.Overall if you are just using straight lines this might be quite good for you but if you’re going to try and use it round a curve surface just forget it.

Title: Good for straight lines and open radius curves.
Review: I ordered this sealing strip to go around the base of my shower enclosure. Part of the enclosure has quite a sharp curve (about a 4 cm radius) and I was looking for a very flexible strip that would go around this and seal between the enclosure and the vinyl floor.It did the job in that area but the result is not very attractive cosmetically, as you can see from the photograph. In reality the wrinkles are not so noticeable in the context of the whole bathroom and I am pleased that I have been able to get a water proof seal, even around the tight radius.In fairness I should say that, the strip worked fine around more open curves on the rest of the enclosure, as you can see from the other photograph and I am happy with the result overall.It was quite easy to apply and I followed the manufacturer suggestion of heating the tape with a hairdryer to make it more flexible and soften the adhesive. My own tip is to just do a very small section of a few centimetres at a time and concentrate on getting the fold pushed well into the corner as you go along.I was probably expecting a bit much for the tape to go smoothly around a very tight curve and, with practice, might have found a technique that gave a better result. Taking that into account, I think it’s fair to give this sealing tape 4 stars.

Title: Simple Installation For Straight Edges
Review: I don’t tend to do a huge amount of household maintenance as I find I am much better behind a keyboard than manual labouring. The seal around our bath was starting to deteriorate though so I got this YANKUIRUI sealant tape as the instructions on the store page looked simple enough that even I should be able to manage it, and save having to call out someone who will charge me a lot more money.The strip is 4 metres long which is way more than I needed. Getting the strip in place was a simple as peeling off the old sealant (it was halfway there anyway), cleaning and drying the area and then just carefully applying this strip so it’s in a straight line. The whole process probably took me 15 minutes but I wasn’t rushing it as it’s not really my forte.The finished result looks good to me. I’m not sure how well this would deal with curved edges but I may try using the remaining tape around my shower unit at some point in the future. I’m in no rush to do more complicated things this moment in time.

Title: Great for straight edges
Review: I got this sealing tape to go around the base of our toilet and basin pedestal as there’s a gap between them and the floor which collects dust and makes it fiddly to clean.The tape is a bit awkward to apply as you need to get the central crease positioned precisely but when you get the hang of it, it’s not too difficult. It looks great on straight lines or very gentle curves. However, I was unable to get a neat finish around the tighter curve around the front of the toilet. The pictures on the listing make it look like you can stretch it around the curve but despite several attempts i couldn’t get it to look anything like that which is a bit frustrating.
