Title: Very good.
Review: The bulb is a lot larger than I was expecting but that’s my problem and not a fault. It works well and gives off a good light but I’d be lying if I said that I found it easy to set up.So here’s my tips.If you can, do the pairing process in the same room as your router or as close as you can.Make sure that you complete the setup process. Even after entering your wi-fi password and getting confirmation that it is connected there are a couple of additional steps before it will tell you that the setup is complete.Once you’ve tested that you can control it from the app, then move it to its intended location.Adding it to Alexa was an easy task.

Title: Good modern Wiz bulbs.
Review: Used two of these for our dining area. Can be dimmed and choice of Cool (blueish) or Warm (yellowish) light. Works perfectly with Bixby using Smart Things from Smart TV and Android phone. Dimming works well with no flicker. A month in so far, and looking good.

Title: Brightness issue
Review: The bulb looks the part and will connect to Alexa ok. It took a couple of attempts to get it connected however so not the most intuitive but not the worst.Setup tips:Use the legacy Wiz app in the App Store, not v2Then use the second connection method where you connect directly to the light in your WiFiAlso when connecting via Alexa you’ll need to use enable the wiz skill which will then connect the account. There are 2 main issues for me here, first off the min brightness is a still a little bit bright and in your face. It’s not like a standard WiFi bulb. However I can just about live with this. The main issue is the device will not save its brightness settings after being turned off via Alexa or the wiz app itself. Wiz have included a ‘default settings when powering on’ setting however this literally only worked when the device is physically turned off at the switch or by cutting power not from turning it on and off from the Alexa/ wiz app. There seems to be no way around this and every time you turn it on it’s blindingly bright and in your face. The only workaround would be to use an Alexa plug in the socket which does a simple on and off and therefore will save your settings (I have tested this)I would therefore not recommend this and likely go for the Philips hue bulb equivalent if buying again. I’ve only kept this as I have an Alexa plug lying around but will upgrade when I have more money.

Title: Easy to set up
Review: I wanted a smart bulb for my outside light, so that I could easily control it rather than being left on all the time if we are out.I also wanted a “nicer” looking bulb as it is visible from the shade on the light fitting. The Wiz bulb seemed to fit the bill nicely for a reasonable price. After downloading the app I found the set up of the bulb very straightforward, as was linking it to the Alexa app.You can set a routing/schedule on the Wiz app but I tend to use the Alexa app to do this. All in all very pleased with the bulb so far.

Title: Great looking bulbs
Review: These bulbs are great. You can change the brightness and colour temperature from the Wiz app or connect to Alexa or Google to control. There’s a whole load of prefixed settings such as TV Time and Daylight to choose from too or you can change the brightness and colour manually.
