Review: This WiFi/3G/4G router is really good it’s easy to set up with a little tech knowledge and has easy to follow instructions this can be used as a wired router for your home or can be used as a sim internet router for more portability it’s open network so any sim works all the wires you need are provided in the box to get this up and running and it works perfectly the signal from this in both forms (wired/4g) is strong and reliable it feels and looks good quality too overall this is a great bit of kit and I highly recommend it fast dispatch and delivery too with prime membership

Title: Works, but underpowered
Review: I had this box mounted with line-of-sight to the 4G mast it was communicating with, ~200m distance. I switched off its WiFi capabilities and used ethernet so as many resources could go to its 4G comms. It would connect fine and stay connected, but under relatively heavy throughput (streaming a 1080p video from YouTube or downloading a game from Steam) its 4G component appeared to crash (reported as disconnections in its admin interface with no further info). I believe these are the drop-outs that other reviews refer to.Works fine for low-throughput tasks – would be good for an IP camera setup for example – but otherwise it’s cheap because it uses underpowered components. I didn’t have the time to strip it down to see what the actual chipset is (plus I wanted a refund!). The TP-Link alternative (virtually identical featureset but more power and £40 more expensive) when used under identical conditions did not suffer drop-outs with high throughput.Rating this two stars because it does actually function, but I suspect many would expect the description to make the device’s limitations clearer.

Title: Decent router for the money, signal could be better
Review: I got this for two reasons – one to replace the router supplier by a well known telecoms company that is absolutely rubbish, and two for when we go on holiday to places with no wifi to use with a 4g sim card. I work in IT so had no real issues setting up, but it’s fair to say the manual could be a lot clearer and bigger so do bear that in mind.I’ve only carried out a brief test with a sim card, the real test will happen when we go to Wales next year for a week, but as a standard router is working absolutely fine. I was a little disappointed with the signal strength, which seems to be only marginally better than the router it replaced, but I guess that’s what you should expect at this price point. At the end of the day it covers our 3 bedroom house OK which I suppose is all that matters.The web interface is a bit “old school” – ie it looks like it could have come from a router from 10 years ago rather than today, but it does the good fine.A decent bit of kit then. My major complaint is the manual is so tiny and hard to read, but as long as you have good eyesight and a rough idea of what you are doing you should be ok!

Review: Als das Produkt ankam war ich sehr erfreut. Dann das erste Makel…Ohne lange Nägel, ist es eigentlich nicht wirklich möglich die SIM ordentlich einzulegen. Gott sei dank, hab ich für sowas eine Frau.Das einrichten der APN verlief Reibungslos, bei Großanbietern braucht man lediglich die SIM einzulegen und es funktioniert. Bei kleinanbietern muss eine Zugriffspunkteinstellung erfolgen.Dann funktionierte das Gerät sage und schreibe EINE!!!! Woche… Saft hat es zwar noch bekommen, jedoch dürfte der Antennenchip seinen Geist aufgegeben haben oder aber eine Lötstelle ist aufgegangen, was bei ordnungsgemäßen Gebrauch eigentlich nicht passieren sollte bei einem Preis von €60,-Rücksendung wurde veranlasst!!!Ich rate jedem vom Kauf dieses Produkts ab. Legt nochmal 20-40€ drauf und holt euch was ordentliches.
