Title: A waste of time and therefore money
Review: I had difficulty with this product on both a Windows 10 device and also on a Windows 11 one.The software would not work at all on the Windows 11 device, with Device Manager reporting the driver was faulty (Code 28). On the Window 10 device the same fault was reported, and most of the time the device would not to connect either by “Ethernet” of WiFi. On two occasions it did connect and was stable for a significant period, however once it dropped the connection there was no way to get it to connect again. (Even multiple restarts failed to solve the issue.)The device also used a lot of the battery from the laptop.I asked for support from the supplier they sent me some instructions, but they appeared to be in German. When I asked for an English version and for them to supply a driver which would work on Win 11, they suggested I should return it. I have happily done so.

Title: Better than 1st impression
Review: Bit of an update. Initially had immense difficulty fitting the SIM card as it disappeared into the slot completely. Had to use some very thin twessers to extract it. Two days latter, and after some frustration I managed to get the SIM to fit. Whoop, Whoop… The blue light indicating connection is very light in colour. It now works nicely enough.

Title: Make sure to look/investigate the “B” bands in the information.
Review: A lot of 4G use “B” bands that this usb device does NOT support. At my location, Lebara/Vodafone would not work but 3 did work. If your 4G is on different bands where you are, you may get a different result with a similar from other suppliers.Also, don’t use this on external usb hubs, it may not work properly.

Title: not impresed!
Review: Got absolutely nowhere with this gadget. Bought to replace a 3G dongle as the network is being turned off soon. I could connect to it at its IP address 192.168.100.1 but no sign of any 4G signal whatsoever and no way to turn the WiFi off. I have a fairly extensive WiFi network and the device is to add capability to send messages from it to my mobile phone but it hogs the same WiFi channel as my other devices and doesn’t seem to have a way to configure to a different one. I’m in a strong 4G signal area but it doesn’t try to log in to it, SIM is 4G enabled and I can read the SIM number through the USB so I know it should validate on the network. Possibly it’s set to use a different 4G band but it has no configuration setting to change country. Back to 3G for now until a different model can be tried.
