Title: 45W Soldering Iron Station 937D + 5 Tips
Review: I’ve tested a lot! of soldering stations and found these stations to be very good for the price, they seem to hold up well against big name brands. I have used the older 936D UP/Down temp buttons for some years. This 937D has a volume style temp control. It uses the same 900M Tips & seems to resemble a big name brand with it’s heating style LED flashes why heating up. I’ve tested the GND/Ground to the tip and it seems to be in good order. So no EOS/ESD damage to sensitive electronics when soldering.

Title: Value for money…
Review: Value for money this cannot be beaten.. it is not a professional iron but close to it, it seems reading the feedback there is a quality issue some times but this goes with most items on here, however, get a good one 90% chance and you wont be sorry, if no good then just send it back for a replacement. For me works perfect, heats up in 30 seconds, accurate temp control (checked..) UK moulded plug, you can normally tell the quality by the included bits and pieces, manual well written in English, good quality, well packed and presented… control box fits under bench with plenty of cable on iron to reach the bench… overall for the price paid, perfect.

Title: Great first station for beginners (as well as experts)
Review: I purchased this to help with some basic wiring and soldiering as well as some iPhone repairs. This is the first ever soldering station I’ve bought, however I am a huge fan of this.The temperature control is really accurate and has a good range of temperatures available.There are plenty of heads of the soldering iron which are useful for a diverse range of jobs (from thick wires to tiny components of iPhones etc).Overall I’m very pleased with this station. It goes great for a repair man like myself when paired with a multimeter and a hot air tool.P.S only downside is that no solder comes with it.

Title: value for money – more than adequate for hobbyists
Review: As far as value soldering irons go, this one is pretty great. It has a small form factor – doesn’t take up too much desk space. It is actually rather solid, with a bit of weight to it. That probably comes from the transformer but I have yet to open it up to confirm.It does have a few cons though: the uk plug is connected directly to the unit, not socketed. It also doesn’t have any obvious method of cooling itself (i.e. no fan) although using it so far it doesn’t seem like it needs one, since it seems to run rather cool, whilst being quiet due to having no fan spin. So I guess that could be considered a pro by some.I don’t know how it will perform for long periods of time being on – so I can not testify to its standby mechanisms; especially since I tend to use it in a very start-stop-off way; whilst putting together kits or salvaging parts from consumer electronics. I don’t have it on continuously for longer than 20 minutes at any one time. That said its ability to heat up quickly (from ambient to ~300) is more than adequate. I haven’t timed it – I just don’t remember consciously waiting on the device.all in all, at the ~£27 price point I’d say its a good buy, especially when you compare it to other products at this price range. The £18-£25 thermoregulated soldering irons in those gawd awful soldering kits. That being said this item is certainly not worth the “original” listed price of ~£50 something – heck-no! at that price point it is not competitive in my opinion.

Title: Finally, I can solder with a professional iron!
Review: So up to today, I’ve been scrimping on soldering irons, buying them for £5, £7, etc. A moment of madness later and I’d bought this on a whim. And……it’s fantastic! It reminds me of the soldering stations we had when I was training in Electronics, very professional, very hot, heat up quickly, adjustable so you can turn it down for very intricate work, and up tot he max when you’re doing big repairs. Overall, great, also comes with a variety of tips for you to select depending on what you’re soldering. Well worth the money!

Review: Works OK but the power lead is far too short. The iron lead is too stiff and the iron holder slides all over the table. It would have been better if the iron holder had been fixed to the main box.

Title: Excellent soldering iron
Review: I’m a retired electronics engineer who soldered pretty much every working day, so I know about soldering! This iron is excellent value. I use it for SMD’s it does the job with no fuss. Very good temperature range.On switch on if I set it to 300 degrees it’s there in 25 seconds! It comes with 6 useful iron bits, they all tin well, a good stable stand and a sponge.No complaints at all. I would recommend this iron.

Title: No good
Review: Bought one of these over two years ago, worked great. Replaced it with same when old one began to fail, what a disappointment. The unit failed to reach temperature, got a replacement same problem. It would appear the build quality of these units has gone downhill, no expert but the temp switching unit inside seems inferior. Wether this was done to make them more power efficient unsure but they don’t seem to heat anywhere as well as the first one I owned. Gave up and asked for refund which 1 month later still haven’t received. Ended up getting analogue iron with pot for temp control from sealey, works great.

Review: Ya dispongo de otra estación yihua mucho mas grande y completa, así que tengo que decir que conocía la marca y estaba satisfecho con ella, fue la necesidad de comprar otro soldador lo que me llevo a adquirir este con el cual estaba familiarizado ya que el cautín es el mismo de mi otra estación y tiene un buen funcionamiento. La estación regula bastante bien la temperatura y además traen un contador digital para que en todo momento sepamos la temperatura aproximada a la que estamos trabajando, viene con un juego de puntas bastante útil y pienso que es una buena opción para todos aquellos aficionados que no necesiten una estación mas compleja.

Review: Prima impressione: non si tratta di una stazione professionale ma…. dato che provengo da trenta anni di utilizzo di un saldatore da 25W ho apprezzato la leggerezza dello stilo di saldatura e la notevole rapidità di riscaldamento.I cavi non sono particolarmente elastici, e il cavo dello stilo non è a mio parere resistente al calore, ma credo non si possa pretendere molto per questo costo. Così anche le plastiche, appena sufficienti come spessore e peso, specie il porta-stilo, che andrà zavorrato.Le punte consentono diversi tipi di lavorazione (nel mio caso modellismo e elettronica molto semplice), la temperatura mi sembra regolabile con buona precisione.Spero, in caso di rotture, nella disponibilità delle parti di ricambio. Vedremo nel tempo.Le 5 stelle sono per il rapporto qualità / prezzo.

Review: Tiene todo lo que necesitaba en casa.En el trabajo utilizo un soldador similar para poder seleccionar la temperatura idónea y que sea rápido y este es idéntico.Tiene interruptor, selector de temperatura digital (suelo soldar a 380 C) mediante una ruleta, se calienta de forma muy rápida.Dispone de soporte para el soldador y viene con varias puntas que me parecen de buena calidad para el bajo precio que tiene.Tiene también una esponjilla para humedecerla y quitar el exceso en la soldadura.Echo de menos no tener algún soplante o pistola de aire para eliminar el exceso, pero es algo que no es necesario.

Review: La temperatura se mantiene en un rango de 5ºC arriba/abajo de la seleccionada. Es bastante lento en alcanzarla, pero el “truco” es ponerle una mucho mayor y enseguida alcanza la que necesitas, giras el botón y listo. Por este precio, está muy bien esta estación. El manual no aclara si el led de calentamiento se apagará o no cuando se alcance la temperatura requerida.
