Uses HA6 is unaffected by UV, ozone, salt water immersion and extremes of temperature and is non-slumping in paste form. HA6 contains no fungicides or oils which may leach into water and is therefore recommended for bonding, bedding and sealing glass in aquarium construction. HA6 is also recommended for the manufacture of in-situ gaskets and seals for pumps and pipework to prevent water ingression and as a dust and weatherproofing seal for cabinets in dirty environments or external applications. It is ideal for use on: glass; ceramics; anodised aluminium; primed metals and timber and many plastics. Preparation Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, oil or any other contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Prime porous surfaces and metals other than anodised aluminium or stainless steel for optimum adhesion. Application Apply using a standard sealant gun with the nozzle cut at an angle of 45°, and to an opening slightly larger than the joint to be sealed. For sealing and bedding apply in the normal fashion and tool to a smooth finish one or two minutes after gunning. As an adhesive bring the two surfaces together before skinning commences and do not stress the joint before the silicone has developed strength. As a gasket apply to one surface and if the joint is to be broken allow a strong skin to develop before compressing for permanent gaskets the joint can be sealed immediately. Clean away any excess with white spirit. When using in aquarium assembly please refer to separate sheet for instructions which can be supplied upon request. Limitations Not suitable for use on bitumen, asphalt, natural stone or unprimed metals. Do not use as a mirror adhesive, Do not apply at temperatures below 5C or above 30C. Title: Excellent sealant for Vivariums
Review: I was upgrading two of my royal pythons and I needed a safe, good sealant to finish their vivariums. My very knowledgeable friend told me about this one.I got three tubes and I did 2 4ftx2ftx2ft vivariums comfortably with about half a tube left!I left it for 48hours, then fitted the light fittings and left another (working day) before setting them up and it was fully cured and safe. Keep it away from any animals (including humans) whilst curing; and if you can crack a window in the room it’s curing in that would be a brilliant help.Good price, excellent product and a much better size than a previous brand I’ve used.I’ll be helping my sister with her tortoise enclosure using this stuff too; I opted for clear as my finish is ash grey (black would have worked but was scared to make a mess!), however they have a range of colours.This will be my go to, animal-safe sealant from now on – highly recommend!

Title: Marine grade silicone at a good price
Review: I have used HA6 for a few years. It has good adhesion and low slump. It is a bit slower to cure than other but a strong but flexible bond it is worth waiting for. An open tube has a very good shelf-life. Just pull off the clingfilm and you are ready to go.

Review: I used this to seal two bathrooms, toilets, sinks and showers. It’s easy to apply and makes for good adhesion and seals. However, it is not at clear as you may think, in small 1-2mm gaps it is not noticeable but if filling larger gaps I would recommend a clearer silicon. Translucent is semi transparent..

Review: some silicones are a nightmare for the DIYer, but this one is clean and easy to use with excess easy cleaned off by peeling once dried.Had a problem with a splash back plastic panel by a bathroom sink and this stuck it to the wall better than proprietary silicone-based glues.Also used it to glue UPVC glass panels into my summerhouse. Perfect result.This is now my go-to product.
