Uses

3M9088 is particularly suited to applications in which resistance to softening agents as well as excellent adhesion is required. Adequate adhesion is achieved on PP (polypropylene) and PE (polypropylene). Examples: self-adhesive finishing of materials (profiles, furniture, cable ducts, sealing profiles), splicing of materials such as paper, foils, textiles, attaching the roll beginning (corestarting), mounting, assembling, attaching advertising materials such as displays, patterns, posters.

Storage:

unprocessed, 12 months after receipt by customer in its original box at 50 % relative humidity and approx. 20 °C storage temperature.

Review: Purchased to stick light-weight LED lights to a wall… which it does… for a few hours!You would have thought 3M knew how to make adhesive by now!Really not great for anything other than sticking paper together. I might donate my roll to the local school.

Review: Ich habe mir das Klebeband gekauft um auf der Rückseite meines Fernsehers ein LED Leuchtkette anzubringen. Ganz ehrlich es klebt schon aber nur so einigermasen. Das Plastik am Fernseher ist auch so ein bisschen Orangenhaut auf ganz glatter Klebefläche hält es wahrscheinlich besser. Also für die Rückseite eines Fernsehers eher ungeignet.

Review: Da mein chinesisches Sticky Tape nicht ausreichte um die nicht ausreichend haftenden LED Streifen neu zu verkleben, habe ich diese Markenprodukt von Scotch gekauft. Leider taugt es in der Wurzel nicht. Nach 2 Tagen lagen die LED Streifen wieder am Boden. Nur dort wo ich den rest Sticky Tape verwendet hatte hängen die LED Streifen jetzt seit 2 Wochen fest. Der einzige Vorteil des Scotch Klöebends ist das deutlich einfacher abziehbare Trennpapier. Aber was nützt das, wen der Kleber nicht hält.Für Papierarbeiten ist das Klebeband bestimmt gut, aber für mehr nicht!Die Lehre daraus: Ein Markenname muss nicht bessere Qualität bedeuten.

Review: Ich benutze das Klebeband zum Anbringen von kleinen Haltern für Kabelbinder. Während normales doppelseitiges Klebeband immer wieder ab ging, haftet dieses hier einwandfrei. Die Klebekraft ist wirklich super. Allerdings hat das Band bei Ankunft sehr (!) stark chemisch gerochen, ich habe es deshalb erst einmal ein paar Tage auf den Balkon legen müssen. Inzwischen geht es – riecht immer noch, stinkt aber nicht mehr den ganzen Raum voll. Das ist vermutlich der Preis, den man für die hervorragende Leistung zahlen muss.

Review: Ich habe dieses Klebeband gekauft, um eine LED-Leiste hinter dem Fernseher anzubringen. Da hat es leider gar nicht gehalten und nach einem Tag schon wieder abgefallen. Gut gehalten hat es an Raufasertapete. Dort habe ich versucht ein paar ganz leichte Bilder anzukleben, da hält es bisher ganz gut.Für schwerere Dinge würde ich Montageband nehmen!

Review: Ich habe damit Styroporleisten unter die Decke geklebt. Interessanterweise ist ausgerechnet eine. Die auf glatten Fliesen klebte, wieder runter gekommen (das Band klebt nach wie vor an der Styroporleiste). Mal sehen wann/ob der Rest folgt.Deshalb 1Stern abgezogen.
