Title: Decent quality ladder clamps for an occasional user
Review: Decent quality ladder clamps for an occasional user, good to be able to secure the ladder properly to the roof rack and also to have some basic security while on the roof.The main part is lightweight box section, which is substantial enough to secure the ladder down to the roof, and then the hook is a decent size, with some reasonable padlocks which would deter a casual opportunist.All pack away back into the box they come in for storage between usages. Good item, to have available as required.

Title: Value clamps.
Review: I needed to move some ladders so after getting some roof bars fitted the clamps were the next step. Not having owned any clamps before I did not find them challenging to install though I did find the threads on the clamp rods to be very long, I suppose this is so multiple ladders can be secured. Talking of secured, the clamps came with two padlocks to prevent the clamps from being released whilst clamped up. These seem to do the job well and as I have seen other sets costing much more I would say save your money and get these.

Title: Just what I needed.
Review: I need to collect my ladders from my daughters, and I’ve previously strapped them to the roof bars. It has never felt very secure, I’m not good at knots, so these will be a great help. They appear well made and collapse into a small box when not in use, which will not be very often at all, so they will stay in the garage. Should be a lot quicker and more secure than ropes.

Title: Perfect for securing ladders
Review: These are perfect for securing your ladders to rood bars, cross bars or anything similar. They come with two rather weak looking padlocks that will add a bit of security to the clamps but for better security I would suggest you upgrade the padlocks. The clamps themselves are much the same as many others and the price is also much the same as many others – not the cheapest nor the dearest. Being a generic no brand at the higher price mark I have dropped a star because you can get the same elsewhere for quite a bit less than the almost £23 asked here.

Title: 2 Pack Ladder Clamps
Review: I have a more expensive pair of these that has served me well that I got from a well-known local hardware supplier so it’s interesting to compare the two.In both cases they aren’t pretty – the welds are effective but rough.The rod on my old ones measures 10.8mm in diameter, while on this it is only 9mm.The pins (screws) that bracket the ladders have a thicker plastic padding around them on my old ones.This one is supplied with 2 small padlocks and spring washers for a more secure fixing.In short there are no differences between the two functionally that matter. Perhaps the quality of my old ones is slightly higher, but I’d have preferred to pay less for these as I don’t use them much and the extra padlocks are a bonus.For the money I don’t think you can go wrong here.
