Title: Good set of larger pocket hole screws
Review: This is a handy set of pocket hole screws for pocket hole joints. They have a 3mm bit and drive head (equivalent to Robinson/Kreg #3) and coarser thread for use in thicker timber so check the right screw for your joints before using.NB: The illustrations show them being used as regular screws, rather than being sunk into the holes of a pocket screw joint. Although I’m a real fan of Robinson / square drive screws, pocket hole screws (like this set) are socket-flanged-button screws, and have a flange to prevent them being drawn too far into the wood. If used for purposes other than socket joints, therefore, the head will sit on top of the wood’s surface; and being blue, will be very visible.Testing them out with my Kreg K4 jig on some 3″ x 3″ scrap timber, they work just as well as any other pocket hole screws I’ve used. I really like them being blue, because it means they are easily identifiable as being reserved for pocket hole joints!. This set is excellent value too, at £7.59 for the assortmen of 140 screws and a long square drive bit: substantially cheaper than similar sets. I will buy more, and thoroughly recommend.

Title: Great quality, with included drill bit!
Review: Cant really fault a box of screws can you? well you cannot fault this one, it even comes with its perfectly sized bit for a drill, all screws are straight, and the inserts are not clogged up at all. The nice blue color gives it a bit more accent to places where you do not want something to be visible, but you can always use a plastic cover for the top.The plastic box nicely stores all the screws with none falling out even if turned upside down. (just close the 2 latches properly)

Review: Ho preso l’articolo grazie al programma Amazon Vine. Ho ordinato subito l’articolo perché le viti contenute sono molto molto simili a quelle contenute nel kit Wallcraft per fare i fori a tasca. Nelle mia incursioni in ferramenta molto difficilmente capita di trovare quel tipo di vite. Rispetto a quelle Wallcrafr queste hanno la testa con intaglio quadrato contro quello a croce. In ogni caso viene fornita la punta corrispondente con il codolo per essere inserito in qualsiasi avvitatore. Stranamente le viti sono blu/azzurre. Avrei preferito un colore meno evidente ma e’ anche vero che solitamente queste viti restano nascoste.In generale il giudizio e’ buono in seguito al prezzo basso, alla comoda scatolina che le organizza ed alla difficoltà di trovarle in negozi ordinari.

Review: Qualité un peu aléatoire des vis : certaines sont un peu tordues.Leur couleur bleue pourra déranger car les rendra plus apparente sur des meubles clairs ou blancs (d’autant que ces vis restent en surface vu leur tête plate).Empreinte de vis un peu contraignante car souvent pas présente dans les kits d’embouts européens : empreinte carré. Un embout (très long) est heureusement fourni.Dans l’ensemble un bon rapport qualité / prix.

Review: Ogni tanto faccio dei piccoli lavori di fai da te e ho deciso di provare questo set di viti per fori a tasca di varie lunghezze.Il set viene fornito in una comoda scatola che contiene le viti in diversi compartimenti ed è facile riconoscere le varie misure grazie all’immagine stampate sul coperchio all’interno della scatola, visibile quando si apre.Le viti hanno un’insolita colorazione blu ma questo non conta molto perché, essendo destinate ai fori a tasca, non saranno visibili una volta installate. Da specificare che anche se le viti sono dichiarate “autoforanti” io pratico sempre il preforo prima di inserire la vite per evitare crepe e fessurazioni nel legno.L’innesto sulla testa è quadrato e in confezione viene fornita una comoda punta lunga adatta proprio per il montaggio nei fori a tasca. Peccato non venga fornita anche una punta adatta per praticare questi fori, ma questo non è un grosso problema perché comunque per effettuarli serve anche un apposito jig, quindi la sola punta non basterebbe.Se si vuole avere la comodità di avere a portata di mano qualche vite per lavoretti saltuari è sicuramente un set consigliato.
