Review: This item is very nice for the price. It comes with an external mic (not needed but could come in handy) and headphones (also not needed, it has an external speaker). You can listen to recordings either via headphones, the unit’s external speaker, or by transferring your files to your PC and listening there. You can save recordings in either MP3 or WAV format. The noise reduction works very well. I used it to try and prove to my wife that she talks in her sleep. We had a semi-loud fan running in the room and I worried that that was all we would be able to hear but it honestly seemed to remove that noise from the recording. Also nice is the mode where you can set it and it will only record when it registers noise – when there is silence it pauses the recording and starts it again when there is noise. Really good feature.

Review: Honestly it’s just so basic, voice activation is impossible to figure out, and the 80ft claim is not even near true. I’m overall disappointed because it has a sleek design.

Review: Was looking for something to use when having meetings so I could refer back to what was talked about. It is so easy to use out of the box and very compact. The battery is long lasting so I am not caught off guard when I need it. I like that I can set it up and it automatically turns on when people start talking. Plus, with noise reduction, the playback sound is very clear. I highly recommend this little compact recorder for students (be really useful in lecture halls), committee meetings, job trainings, etc. Going to buy this compact recorder for Christmas for my nephews who are in college.
