Review: A nice collection of drivers, I have only used a few so far but they seem to be good quality and strength, the case is very unusual and very cool that keeps everything nice and tidy, all bits are magnetised that I find very handy for placing screws precisely on re assembly and not to drop them on disassembly, this set would make a great gift, I am very pleased with it and it will make a great addition to my toolkit.

Title: Superb kit
Review: I ordered this off Vine because it’s a tool, and as a woodturner/woodworker tools are my thing. I also restore old audio equipment, for fun, and watches, so these seemed an ideal thing to try and then review.The first thing I noticed was just how ridiculously tight the velvet pouch is! Do they stitch it on? A pointless addition in my opinion. Nice pouch, but it’s never going back in it. The case is well designed, and opens and closes well, and seems to be a good locking fit. By virtue of being so small, and being so closely positioned, the bits can be a little awkward to remove and replace, if you have adult human sixed fingers! The bits and handle seem to be very well made, and the bits fit perfectly into the handle.There are no instruction supplied, but the box does explain that the kit has the facility to magnetize and de-magnetize the bits, by using the two rectangular holes (although the box calls them grooves, or something). It doesn’t say how to use the holes…do you just pop the bit in quickly, swirl it around, is there a time period? Who knows! So I did some swirly passes. The bit certainly becomes more grippy, but the de-magnetization doesn’t appear terribly efficient, and the bit was still magnetic enough to grab. The listing and box also state that the end of the handle, the rotating part, is magnetic…which would be handy…but it isn’t. Not in any sense. It’s not the end of the world, the screwdriver is still usable, but when a claimed function is missing, it’s irritating. I’m assuming that there should be a tiny neodymium magnet in the end cap, and it was not put in. The rotating cap is pressed onto the handle, but will come off with a sharp pull. I wondered if it was only magnetic with the cap removed, but it isn’t. Still no magnetism in the handle end. This is a minor quibble, but as I say, advertised functions should be there. So the kit drops a star for that.It’s very comprehensive kit, and the addition of the mini pry bar, tweezers, and spanners are all great additions to a very portable kit. It will live in my electronic kit bag from now on, and will get a lot of use….just not by picking up screws and nuts with the non-existent magnet in the cap (is it apparent that this irritates me yet?).So, having tried it out, would I actually buy it? Yes. It’s a really nice kit, comprehensive, very high quality (except for the missing magnetic end cap…I’m never going to get over this let down! I may need an intervention), and beautifully packed into a great case. I think it’s a bargain at the price.
