Title: Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for
Review: Easy to mount and install phone app, which is good because there is only a minimal instruction sheet. However the team behind the Yi IoT mobile app are very helpful. The cameras don’t respond and track movement as much as I would like and take a long time to return to starting position. There is a long delay between responding to each event. Cameras need a VERY STRONG wifi signal and need to be mounted very close to a mains power supply for the USB cable unless, like I’ve had to do, you buy very long USB cables, (I have four cameras and each needs a 20mtr USB. Night vision is not very clear, but can’t expect much for the price.

Title: Do not buy this for outdoors
Review: I bought 4 of these for outdoors as they were advertised as outdoor cameras. The power supply simply connects under the camera and is exposed. As soon as it rains they are penetrated and the port becomes rusty and the camera fails

Title: a GOOD and v cheap motorised INDOOR camera ( Not weatherproof )
Review: for £20 you cant beat the value, but note the microSD slot + power cable are NOT weatherproof, the sd card espcially is an open socket with no cover plate..( I dont think it would last long outdoors )…. but for indoor use, its great, you can adjust the rotation via the phone app and/or windows app,,,,,,,,, the camera will auto rotate to keep the target in view…… you can manually rotate it via the app also………… OH , the colour night vision is a gimmick , all it does it turn on super bright LEDs to illuminate the area ( so its not so dark anymore! ) stick with the infra red night vision……………..the camera is made by YI IOT , you can find the software online for windows, they Apple will be supported soonimage quality if fine, good enough for home use, dont expect the worlds best image for £ 20 , but its plenty good enough

Review: Wanted to have a look at the dc connector and opened up the back to check it…Was when ive realised that the antennas are not even connected!The range will be very short as the camera has no antennas..This item is a scam, do not buy it… instead spend a bit more and get something reliable.

Title: Very small camera
Review: This camera is very small. I was expecting it to be a similar size as the rest of the outdoor PTZ cameras that are popular and widely available. There are dimensions on the listing which I glossed over having read the title, viewed the product images and main description. Nowhere on the listing does it mention it being small, mini or anything similar. I think a big part of having an outdoor CCTV camera is that it’s obvious which serves as a deterrent. This camera is very small, feels a bit cheap and connects via a USB-C cable at the back. The supplied USB-C cable is too short for it to be used outside in most cases and will require a longer cable being purchased separately. It is branded as an outdoor security camera but it is much more suitable as an indoor camera, maybe for a garage or shed etc. I wouldn’t be putting this outside on my house. I don’t believe it would last very long outside in the UK winter weather conditions.Having said the above negative points, it was easy to setup, app is good and video and audio quality is good too for the money and size. I used a 32GB microSD card to record footage but there is also a cloud option at an additional cost.I have given this 3 stars because it is a good little PTZ camera but the selling point of this device seems to be that it is an outdoor PTZ camera. In my opinion and based on owning numerous cameras in the past, this is an indoor camera.
