Title: Great value – works as expected
Review: I bought this as a bit of a punt. I have a Land Rover Defender 90 van, this gives the same effect as the Clearsight mirror fitted to the new Defender. It works just as I’d hoped – I use it as a full time rear view mirror. Was easy to install and looks great. For the money it’s brilliant. The only slight downside is it is significantly wider than my original mirror so interferes with the sun visors. I would buy again.

Title: Better than some more expensive versions.
Review: For a cheap and cheerful mirror this is in my opinion better than some of the pricier models. For starters the rear camera is clearer in the dark than the pricier ones, and it has reasonable clarity. Unlike the pricier ones this doesn’t come with 2.5k or 4k cameras but to be honest that doesn’t really matter as it does the same job in 1080 fhd. I would definitely recommend this mirror and it’s cameras for anyone who wants to add security to their vehicle as well as a clear night picture. The only things I’d like to see improved would be a visor on top of the mirror to reduce glare from the sun, a proper night vision rear camera with lights to reduce glare and give a clearer picture, and also an anti glare film for the mirror and a yellow film to reduce headlight glare on both cameras.Overall though, this does a good job for the price and is very easy to install with plenty of cable to reach the rear of the car. The memory card size compatibility is also very good for a cheaper model.

Title: Rear camera did not work out of the box
Review: Spent several hours today fitting the camera and mirror to my car. Upon turning on ignition, the screen comes to life. The front camera displays. I go to settings and select rear, but still only front is showing. I go behind the car, to. Verify that it is in reverse and reverse light is on. Using a volt meter I check that the red wire is getting 12v. Nothing. What a piece of crap. Now I have to remove all wires that I have zip tied, and purchase a new one.. After the hassle of retuning this unit. I have drilled holes.. So I must pray to some God that this was just a fluke crap dead on arrival.

Review: I am really happy with my new dashcam. Both the quality and the price were way above expectation. I have yet to use the memory card to check the recordings on my laptop. But put in playback mode on the camera itself it looks very good indeed. I will be buying my daughters one for Christmas!

Title: Playback Error
Review: Installation of the camera is straightforward and the camera and picture quality is great when you are able to watch the video during playback. However, there are 2 instances now that I have been involved in a road traffic accident and both times the camera seems to corrupt those videos making them unuseable. Other times, the video quality is great but seems when you need the video the most, it is when you see the error in playback. This could be because it records on AVI which is uncommon format but this is usually supported for both desktop pcs and apple products. For this reason, I am opting to just buy a new camera and hope it records on a more supported format like my other car’s dashcam.

Title: Rear camera stops working after a week
Review: Generally a good product, but reports of rear camera failing which also happened to mine after 2 weeks. Had to send back all components and order a new one and took 2 hours to fit and replace. I would have thought that just the replacement camera could have been sent out easier for me and cheaper for the supplier. Take out the insurance that is usually offered when buying in case it fails outside the amazon returns window. I think the seal on the supposedly IP69 camera was defective causing the failure as on inspection the faulty one pulled apart easily. Tempted to tape over the join to ensure it stays secure.

La instalación ha sido sencilla.Funciona bien como espejo cuando está apagado, pero cuando se enciende sirve de cámara de aparcamiento al meter marcha atrás. Además puedes usar la imagen de la cámara como espejo panorámico cuando vas en marcha. Con buena visión nocturna.Además la cámara delantera va grabando en bucle si le incorporas una tarjeta MicroSD. PodrÃa ser útil en caso de cualquier incidencia del tráfico.Me ha sorprendido muy gratamente su funcionalidad y la calidad de la imagen.Por poner un pero, es complicado calibrar las lÃneas de referencia cuando metes marcha atrás, pero ayuda mucho en cualquier caso, y desde luego, teniendo ahà la cámara, evitarás cualquier pequeño golpe aparcando.
